TEAM PROFILE:
AIMA RIZWAN

AIMA RIZAWAN

Aima completed her Law LLB at Cardiff University in 2018. Her passion for mental health law is derived from her Medical Law and Ethics module in her third year at university. Aima has always had a passion for assisting those in need. While at university she engaged in the Innocence project as well as the Joint Enterprise Project (JENGbA). This entailed preventing further miscarriages of justice in instances where the Criminal Justice system has failed them. Most notably, an appeal had been accepted at the Court of Appeal on a case Aima was a team leader on.

Since working at Bison, Aima appreciates the opportunity to work closely with her clients and to witness the progress her assistance provides. Aima is passionate in representing the vulnerable members of society.

Aima currently works with an extensive range of clients, both those in hospital, as well as in the community. Aima understands the importance of liaising with the clinical and social professionals to achieving the most effective options for her clients.

Aima is currently working towards Law Society Panel Accreditation in order to further her ability to represent the views of the vulnerable.

Aima also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Aima also loves travelling and exploring the world, and hopes to go on a backing trip across new Zealand and Australia in the future.
