AISHA JAWAID

Aisha completed her LLB Honours Degree at the University of Surrey in 2018 and has also recently completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) alongside her Masters in Law (LLM) at the University of Law in Guildford.

Whilst studying her LPC, Aisha has gained valuable experience in Family Law, Wills and Probate, Real Estate, Clinical Negligence, Immigration Law and Civil Litigation. As well as this, Aisha has worked for top law firms throughout London, where she has gained extensive skills and knowledge which has made her successful in her role today.

Aisha’s passion for helping vulnerable client’s has led to her becoming a Mental Health Paralegal at Bison Solicitors. Aisha has represented a wide range of clients, who are both living in the community and those who are detained in hospital. Aisha advises clients on their rights under the Mental Health Act 1983 and prepares their cases from start to finish for any upcoming Hospital Managers Hearings or First Tier Tribunals.  Aisha is passionate about Mental Health Law and Human Rights and is committed to providing her client’s with the highest quality of service in a professional manner.

In the near future, Aisha aspires to further develop her career at Bison Solicitors by becoming a Law Society Accredited Panel Member and work towards becoming a Solicitor, so that she is able to progress within her legal career.

 

Outside of work, Aisha likes to bake and spend time with family and friends. Aisha has travelled throughout Asia and Europe and enjoys discovering new places.
