CALIN MOLOIU

Calin completed his LLB in Law with Australian Law at the University of Nottingham.

During his time at university he worked with the Human Rights Centre at the university who ran an international program with the collaboration of Scholars at Risk. Their task involved running a campaign on campus to gain support for the release of a scholar imprisoned in Iran. In 2019 they held a debate with two MP’s and the UN special reporter on Iran to discuss the merits of the case.

In 2018 Calin worked with Amnesty International on a year long campaign in Australia to help bring awareness about the rights of aboriginal people. Culminating in an event with the former Australian Attorney General.

Calin also ran an event with Lord Neuberger, at the time head of the Supreme Court, in which they discussed the merits of the courts in the world post Miller No 1 and what will happen to the separation of powers in the future.

 

Calin’s main interests are helping clients and making a difference, especially when they are part of society that has been historically oppressed.
