Libby completed her Law LLB Honours Degree at the University of Winchester in 2014 and went on to study the Legal Practice course at the University of Law, Guildford. Whilst studying her LPC she gained valuable experience of family law, conveyancing and private client, whilst completing work placements in various Law firms.

Libby is a passionate member of the Bison’s team, enjoying the personal attributes mental health law offers to her position. Libby became aware of her love for human rights and mental health law after studying them at undergraduate level. She chose mental health to pursue a personal interest and rewarding career. Libby also has a keen interest in Family Law and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Libby has attained Panel accreditation from the Law Society’s Mental Health Panel scheme and has completed her Training Contract in order to qualify as a solicitor specialising in Mental Health Law.

Libby represents clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the 2007 Act).

Her experience includes representing clients at Hospital Managers hearings, attending Care Programme Approach meetings and representing clients at the First Tier Tribunal.

Libby is passionate about helping the vulnerable members of our society, and giving a voice and professional legal representation to those who need it most. Libby is a diligent worker, who endeavours to ensure the best possible outcome for every client.

In her spare time Libby enjoys travelling and a glass of fine wine.

Libby is experienced in Mental Health Law & Private and Family Law.
