Mitchell completed his Law LLB at Bournemouth University, gaining an Upper-Second Class Degree. During this time, he achieved a first class grade in his dissertation which focussed on encouraging the rehabilitation of criminal offenders.
Mitchell then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course with an MSc in Business Management at the University of Law in Guildford. During this time, he volunteered at the Guildford Employment Rights Advice Line, assisting with providing legal representation to those who could not afford to instruct solicitors. He also gained insight into areas of human rights law through participation in workshops with Amnesty International and Amicus ALJ.
