Law Society Accredited Mental Health Panel Member

We are looking for a panel member to meet the criteria for our legal aid mental health contract. The contract verification has now concluded and we offer a genuine position for the right candidate.

You are either a caseworker or a solicitor. You have your own followings and are able to generate your own referral work. You have a sense of humor and not looking for a 9-5 job. You are looking for a firm to progress your legal career as you are very ambitious and not afraid of challenge. You get along well with colleagues, you are respectful and most of all, you are a team player.

Although you have been trained by another firm, you are adoptable. You do not require spoon feeding because you are skilled to develop your own legal knowledge without having a need to attend courses. You have some experiences with managing files to escape fee level, a bonus if you had experience with appeal work. You can provide work references from a former employer and a mental health tribunal judge.

Role Type: full time position

LPC Graduates

We have two positions available with a view leading to a training contract. You must be bright, sensible and hardworking. Although you have none or limited legal work experiences, you compensate that with your can-do attitude.

You have an interest in legal aid work, and are particularly interested in mental health, mental capacity law and public law. You are passionate about helping people, and so you are not looking for a 9-5 job. You are willing to put in extra effort if required.


You get along well with others and despise playing politics in order to achieve your goals. And finally, you must have a good sense of humor and fun to be around.

Solicitor or Paralegal with 2 years or more experience in Court of Protection Work

You have the ability and past experiences in working independently. You are experienced and knowledgeable in Mental Capacity Law and have the ability to lead a small team within the firm.

You are capable, ambitious and target oriented. You are extremely hard working and not afraid to put in extra effort in order to develop a strong team int this area of practice.

You are looking for a firm to make your mark. You are a leader but most of all, you are a team player. You recognise the differences between unity and personal ambition.
