PHILIP JONES

PHILIP JONES

Philip graduated with an LL.B. (Hons) from Edge Hill University in 2016. He subsequently undertook the Bar Professional Training Course in Manchester and was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn in 2017.

 Philip started his legal career working within a commercial healthcare advisory team, during which time he developed a specialism in the law regarding deprivations of liberty.

Philip also gained experience in Court of Protection welfare proceedings, inquests, and in supporting witnesses called to give evidence at criminal trials. Since 2019, Philip has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying as a Fellow in 2021.

 Outside of the office, Philip winds down with literature and film, has an amateur interest in numismatics, and enjoys wild swimming.
